Join a Committee and Help Shape the Future of the Northeast Cargo Security Council

We are accepting candidates interested in serving on NECSC sub committees focused on sponsorship, membership growth, intelligence, and education.

Education Committee

The Education Committee is responsible for developing and delivering high value content that informs, educates, and strengthens the supply chain security community in the Northeast. This committee will support the creation of webinars, podcasts, and training initiatives designed to help educate members. Committee Members will help identify relevant topics, coordinate guest speakers, and contribute to the development of educational resources that provide practical value to both industry professionals and law enforcement partners. The goal of the Education Committee is to position the Northeast Cargo Security Council as a trusted source for knowledge, collaboration, and ongoing professional development in cargo security.

Law Enforcement & Intelligence Committee

The Intelligence Committee is focused on strengthening information sharing across the Northeast. This committee brings together professionals with backgrounds in law enforcement, investigations, and security to support and encourage information sharing across the NECSC member base. Members will leverage their networks to enhance collaboration with law enforcement agencies in the Northeast. The goal of the Intelligence Committee is to improve awareness, support proactive prevention efforts.

Member Committee

The Member Committee is responsible for driving the growth, engagement, and overall strength of the NECSC community. This committee will focus on increasing membership while ensuring members remain active and engaged. Efforts include supporting outreach initiatives, identifying opportunities to expand the network, and enhancing the overall member experience through communication and involvement. The committee will also play a key role in preparing for the transition to a paid membership model in 2027 by helping define value, strengthen engagement, and ensure members clearly recognize the benefits of participation in the council.

Sponsorship Committee

The Sponsor Committee is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships that support the growth and sustainability of the NECSC. This committee will focus on identifying and securing sponsorship opportunities, building strong relationships with partners, and ensuring a clear and equitable exchange of value. Members will help align sponsorships with council initiatives, events, and educational efforts while maintaining consistent communication and engagement with sponsors. The goal of the Sponsor Committee is to create long term partnerships that enhance the council’s impact while delivering meaningful visibility and value to sponsoring organizations.
